Stone patios & hardscaping in Rehoboth, MA

Bryce builds patios, walkways, retaining walls and fire pits in Rehoboth and the towns next to it. One crew, one person quoting the job, and it is the same person who builds it.

Rehoboth is big-lot country, with long driveways and back yards that open up under a wide sky. That scale changes the job. A patio sized for a suburban backyard would get lost here, so the design starts bigger and the walkway has to actually be worth the walk. The ground runs sandy in stretches and holds water in others, so the base and the slope get read on site before anything is priced. Out this way people also want the patio to sit quietly in the land rather than shout, and that is usually less about the stone and more about where the edges and the grade fall.

The ground runs sandy in stretches and holds water in others, sometimes within the same lot, so the base and the slope get read on site before anything is priced. Sandy ground drains fast and needs careful compaction and edge restraint to stay put; the wetter pockets are the opposite problem and need the water routed away. Both are fixable, but only if the yard is actually walked first.

On lots this size the timeline is usually driven by hauling and site access rather than by the stonework itself. A long driveway is not a problem for getting a job done, but it does add time moving material in and out, and that shows up in the schedule more than in the price.
